编导手记:

     From IN 是我斟酌最长并修改最多的一部作品,从2015年在国家大剧院首演之后,除了我和黎星、钱敏3人,外国演员全部更换,现在的演员都是我个人非常欣赏的最好的或有潜力中国舞者。因为创作的阶段不同,此刻的我希望它更有“人”的温度。

From IN is the works I have had the consideration with longest time and the numerous revisions. In addition, after having been initially performed in National Grand Theater since 2015, except Li Xing, Qian Min and I, all foreign performers were replaced completely. In my opinion, the present performers are the best or the most potential Chinese dancers I appreciate greatly. As it has different stages of creation, presently, I hope it has more temperature of “human beings”. 

在三年的打磨中我修改了首演版本中80%的动作,调整了50%的音乐,让它在2016年基本成为了一部全新的作品。我们最美的灯光师高捷叫它《一捺一撇》………(哈哈)
In three years’ performance, I have revised 80% of actions in the edition of initial performance and adjusted 50% of the music, which made it a brand new works in 2016. Our prettiest lighting designer Gao Jie called it From IN……. (Hehe…)

       From IN ,它就像我精神的折射面,我把自己想要表达的情感全都投射并隐藏到这个作品之中。
From IN is like the reflection of my spirit. I want to reflect and hide all the emotions I want to express in the works.

 
“一撇一捺” = 人/入/X = 支点.原点.连接与拆解
“From IN”=Chinese character Ren (human being)/Chinese character Ru (enter)/X= supporting point, initial point, connection and disassembling 

人 - 字面、身体、精神、情感、支点

If you relax yourself and think the theater is with us or provide a supporting point in the body emotionally, maybe you will find the hidden language in the works….. as well as the emotions in the actions. From IN has many different forms of performances. The dance language is very typically personal and all parts of the body are developed completely. It seems that every muscle and joint can dance. 节目介绍:
      人与人之间会产生关于彼此的记忆,因为一个时间、空间点上的相交集,产生一个连接,架构了一个支点,否则我们只是不在 同一平面没有相交的一撇或一捺。 

     As human beings, one of the reasons we share memories with each other is that we meet at the same moment in the same space, which creates a special link. Without this, we are just living parallel lives indifferent spaces.


编导的话:
《一撇一捺》,拆解“人”的形状,从不同层面去解构“人”的组成。从文字架构上分离开一撇和一捺。透视从“人”看见身体本体,理性的研究身体和运动逻辑。透过身体再往里,挖掘人的组成,人与人交叉而产生的情感和记忆,人之所以独立为“人”的敏感精神层面。再往里,透过身体和精神,去到“人”感知的原点—心脏,它是迸发血液和情感的地方,一撇一捺的支点,人和人的交叉点,情感和情感的连接点,身体和身体的碰撞点。一个安放自己的地方。这个支点的后面还有什么?从我出发,那无限时间空间中的一撇和一捺,那个交叉点,那个被分离的支点,我看见孤独………

From IN, dismantle the shape of “human”, then deconstruct the component of “human” from different aspects. Separate all the parts from word structure! See the body of “human” from deep perspective, then rationally study the body and movement logic! Thus see deeper, dig and enlarge the component of human nature, feelings, desires, violence, softness generated from exchanges between people, thus see the sensitive spirit aspect that why human is independent as "human"! Deeper, pass through the physical and mental, thus see the heart, which is the birthplace and pivot of perception, it is the place that bursts blood and emotion, the intersection of all parts, connection points of human, collision points between the bodies, the source of “move”, heart, which is also the place that lays yourself and love down. What are behind this source? See from my opinion, it is the point in infinite time space, that intersection, and that pivot, but I just see loneness…

编导手记:

UNKNOWN 是 2016 年我与以色列KIBBUTZ现代舞团编舞家Eyal Dadon 先生首次合作的倾力之作,也是Eyal在中国为中国舞团编创的第一个作品。作品于 2016 年8月23 日和 24日在北京国家大剧院《中国舞蹈十二天》项目中完成首演,9月2号在上戏剧院首演。    
UNKNOWN was a great performance I cooperated for the first time with Mr. Eyal Dadon, the choreographer of Israeli KIBBUTZ modern dance company in 2016. In addition, it was also the first works Eyal created for Chinese dance theaters in China. The dance was performed initially in the program “Twelve Days of Chinese Dance” in Beijing National Grand Theatre on August 23rd to 24th in 2016. On September 2nd, it was performed initially in Shanghai Theatre Academy.

      UNKNOWN 它更是一个随着时间持续探索和更新的概念。这个大的名字之下将包含不同风格的中型作品,2016年的首演版本,其中包括Eyal的45分钟作品《层次》,我和黎星25分钟的作品《触碰》,共时长 70 分钟。
Typically, UNKNOWN is a sustainable exploration and innovation with time. Moreover, the great name contains medium works with different styles. The initial edition in 2016, which contains LAYERS (the 45-minute works of Eyal) and TOUCH (the 25-minute works performed by me and Li Xing), lasts 70 minutes.

2018 年,谢欣舞蹈剧场将推出《未·知UNKNOWN》=《…之后…》+《层次》的全新版本,更新时长 80 分钟。  —— 谢欣
In 2018, Xiexin Dance Theater will release the brand new edition of UNKNOWN= LATER +LAYERS. And, the time of works will be as long as 80 minutes.-------Xie Xin

UNKNOWN is a wonderful dance cooperated by Xie Xin and Mr. Eyal Dadon, a famous Israeli choreographer.In our lives, we may have many unknown  experiences and each of us won’t be an exception. Something unknown will bring us the horrors as well as the expectations. In addition, the horrors and expectations may be the typical psychological experiences for human beings who are considered as one of the primates.
Actually, modern dance art has developed for many years in China. The modern dancers explore the unknown fields and the future with courage, which is considered as the spirit of modern dance art. Inherited from the spirit of modern art, Xie Xin has integrated her creation into performance. Her body is extremely sensitive and delicate. In her dance, every time, I usually expect to predict her next actions but her actions will be beyond my imagination. As she has chosen UNKNOWN as the title of her works, I think Xie Xin’s typical artistic experiences can be exactly shown in the performance.------Feng Shuangbai (Tutor)

Mixed relations….between two persons….behind the paper….

人一生会遇到约2920万人,两个人相爱的概率是0.000049。内地当红舞者、编导谢欣和来自香港的编导潘振濠真诚演绎在芸芸关系之中,两人之间将何去何从……
A person may meet 29,200,000 people in the whole life and the probability that two people fall in love will be 0.000049. Xie Xin, the popular dancer and choreographer from mainland China, and Pan Zhenhao, the choreographer from Hong Kong will give a sincere performance in mixed relations to explain what the relationship will be between two persons……

这次的创作与以往作品最不一样的一点是在:以往的作品里,她对身体的逻辑性探索性更为痴迷。但这次和潘振濠的合作,让她在戏剧上有了更多的经验和感受,在动作之上更多了一层对人物和情景的创造空间。让身体加入戏剧化的表演,从动态中将人物的关系勾勒出来,并且这也是她第一次在作品中运用道具,丰满了既定人物之间微妙的关系。
One of the differences for the creation from the previous works is that she is more fascinated for logical exploration of body comparing to the previous works. This time, with the cooperation with Pan Zhenhao, she has gained more experiences and feelings in the dramas. Besides, she has more creative ideas of characters and scenes in actions. She integrates the body into dramatic performances and outlines the relations of characters from dynamic changes. In addition, it is the first time for her to use stage properties in the works in order to enrich subtle relationship of the fixed characters.

节目介绍:
      我们可以说:任何事物都有层次。譬如:颜色、声音、衣服、材料、感觉、性格、思想、心灵、空气、皮肤等万事万物。
       混合的层次连接着不同文化,有助于彼此之间相互理解。就像颜色和音乐那样,不管什么颜色或者音乐,只要你加以混合,就能得到某种你能够理解的结果。可能你不喜欢这一结果,但是这算是口味的问题而已。
       一个人应该明白如何设想和“梦想”层次所呈现的方式,因为层次能以很多种方式加以解读。但是,能够以一种方式去理解透彻已经足够,这样整个世界就可以从中得到发现。
Everything - has layers.Color, Sound, Clothes, Material, sense, personality, thoughts, soul, air, skin, everything. 
Dadon believes that, mixing layers, can connect between cultures, and can help the understanding of each other, just like color or music, it doesn’t matter which color or music you will mix, you will have a result of something, which you will be able to understand. 
A person should know how to imagine and “dream” about the way that layers looks like, because it can be translated in many ways, but it is enough to have one way to see it, and a whole world can be discovered.

谢欣舞蹈剧场第五部全新作品,以身体作为基底,以戏剧和环境道具为穿梭,挖掘动作所深藏的潜台词和浅出的意向表达,一次寻找人精神极地的探索之旅。
As the fifth new works of Xiexin Dance Theater, it is based on the body and with the clue of dramas and environmental properties in order to explore hidden meaning of the actions and superficial expressions of the intentions. Then, it will be the exploration to search the spiritual peak of human beings.

在谢欣舞蹈剧场三年的独立创作后,做为编舞,我希望身体的内容不仅仅是动作和舞蹈,而是不同力量与质感所创造在动作之上的表达,创造出时间-关系-语言-人。以身体为材料出发的作品创作,想象力是第一位。舞蹈的动作固然重要,但动作所深藏的潜台词和浅出的意向表达才是更动人的。在这些年专注于极简的舞台和纯粹身体运动探索之后,这一次的创作要尝试完全新的方向。以身体为基底,以戏剧和环境道具为探索,寻找人精神极地的探索之旅。舞者身体的戏剧感,道具创造出语境并限制和发展身体不同可能性,彼此完全融入,互相交叉的创造新可能。把“执迷”所念的物-人-深藏-疯狂都包裹在舞台的层层发生中。融合跨界作品一定不是生硬的拼接。舞蹈与戏剧,身体与语言本就是一体,融合彼此的表达形式将是舞台艺术发展的未来。—— 谢欣

After dealing with independent creation in Xiexin Dance Theater for three years, as a choreographer, I hope the body doesn’t simply mean the actions and dances but the creation of difference strengths and qualities in the actions and the creation of time-relationship-language-person. In the creation based on the body, the imagination comes first. The actions of dance are actually very important but the subtexts in the actions and expressions of superficial intention are more attractive. After focusing on the extremely simple stages and pure exploration of physical actions, the creation will try new trends completely. Based on the body, with the exploration of drama and environmental properties, it seeks the exploration of humans’ spiritual height. The dramatic feeling of the dancer’s body and the context created by stage properties will restrict and develop the body’s different possibilities. As they integrate into each other completely, it will make the mixed creation possible. The “obsessed” object-human-something hidden-something crazy will be covered in different layers of the stage. The integrated cross-body works is not the inflexible montage. Just like the dance and drama, the body and language are considered as a whole. The expression of mutual integration will be the future development of stage art.-----Xie Xin

执-从念而来,偏执,毫无怀疑;迷-往幻而去,迷失,幻象丛生。执迷之物-执迷之爱-执迷之深藏-执迷之疯狂。执迷像一座火山,巨大的念力如同岩浆,被包裹在沉默的驱壳之上,汇聚火山喷发那一刻的疯狂。草间弥生,梵高,亚历山大麦昆,埃贡席勒这些伟大的艺术家们都是如此执迷的存在。 幻觉的产生或许源自于精神上的强大与偏执、脆弱与迷离的共生。执迷是美丽的,神秘的,危险的,触不可及又深陷其中的。它有着黑与白的极简极致,又有着色彩缤纷的无数层次。它像一个让人产生幻觉的无底的万花筒,精神的缠绕从此便包裹着这个生命。不可控制的思维发生与客观世界的控制之间无休止的对话与碰撞,其中产生着巨大的心理拉锯和失衡。这便是某一群人的生命,他们活在两个世界。喷发着寂静而闪耀的白日焰火。 

Prejudice- from some ideas, it is prejudice with no doubt; Fantasy-go with the fantasy, get lost and be clustered with illusion. Persist in something-persist in love-persist in something hidden-persist in madness. Persistence is like a volcano and the great telekinesis like magma will be covered in the quietness and become crazy at the eruption of volcano. Some great artists like Yayoi Kusama, Van Gogh, Alexander McQueen and Egon Schiele are the examples of persistence. The creation of illusion may be from spiritual co-existence among greatness, prejudice, fragility and blurriness. The persistence is something beautiful, mysterious and dangerous. In addition, it is untouchable but it easily gets hooked. It has extreme black-and-white simplicity as well as numerous colorful layers. Like a kaleidoscope without bottom, it makes people hallucinated and then, the spiritual haunting covers the whole life. There are ceaseless dialogues and collisions between controllable thinking and the control of objective world, which lead to great psychological struggles and imbalances. It is the life of some group of people, who live in two different worlds. In the meantime, the quiet and shining daytime fire bursts out.
